Over the last three plus years, the then self proclaimed 'Girl on Fire' Kiera Hogan has been slowly proving her worth to fans world-wide. After signing to IMPACT Wrestling in August 2017, previously known at that time as Global Force Wrestling, Kiera Hogan has been elevating herself one appearance at a time. Every loss. Every win. Every opportunity. Each would gradually present themselves to the young star and would eventually all pay off…
Yes, Kiera Hogan is a young starlet on the rise. More importantly, she's proved herself to be an individual who represents the flame that would ultimately help fuel the future of The Knockouts Division. However, to say that Hogan only recently came into her potential as a star would be a drastically nonsensical falsehood. As someone who has shared a ring countless times with Kiera Hogan, I can say with complete earnestness that her potential has always been there. And is growing. Growing at an impressively exponential rate. With every opportunity presenting a new challenge for her to utilize and grow from.
On numerous occasions Kiera Hogan could have failed. On paper women like Hogan, myself, and others aren't supposed to succeed. Yet, on numerous occasions, we've all proved the flammable nature of paper and what it represents. Its meaningless odds that seem insurmountable until when matched against people who refuse to be held back by the odds of circumstance. Thus she reignited the fire of IMPACT Wrestling's Knockout Division. A Division built upon the premise of opportunity, talents possessed by the future, competition, and progression. A Division fought for by women like Gail Kim, Roxxi Laveaux, Hamada, Mickie James, Christy Hemme, Awesome Kong, Taylor Wilde, Tara, and more.
When I originally became acquainted with Kiera Hogan she once told me how she was in attendance the fated day that I wrestled Mickie James on Spike T.V, in Atlanta. Hogan would later tell me that it was an absolute ultimate dream for her to also one day wrestle under the IMPACT Wrestling banner as a contracted Knockout. Her biggest goal she'd say was to aspire to inspire the way she was similarly inspired. To prove herself to her own self and to others. To make her home, her family, her haters and most importantly herself proud.
As it turns out, that dream would indeed come full circle for Kiera Hogan as she came into her own tagging with Tasha Steelz. The two are an immensely dynamic duo with charisma to burn. An acquired taste that is unique and full of entertainment whether in ring or in vignettes. This pairing would lead Hogan to win the brand new IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Championship Titles alongside Tasha Steelz. They'll forever be the first to hold those coveted titles as they usher in a new Knockouts Tag Team era in IMPACT Wrestling. Having those prestigious titles presented to Hogan and Steelz by Gail Kim and Madison Rayne would be an intrinsically memorable experience. And they've only just begun…
Here's to the young girl who fell in love with an unconventional Industry. To the young teenager who sat in the audience dreaming of one day being a Pro Wrestler in that very ring. The the young woman dared to go after that dream. To the hustle she needed to make it in that Industry. To the fire in her soul burning a scorched path to her success. To the woman who became what she dared to dream of. To the Knockout who dared to aspire to inspire - Kiera Hogan.
