Tag Team Done With TNA

The tag team division in TNA is a little leaner. The Tribunal, Baron Dax and Basile Baraka, wrapped up their tenure with the promotion with their loss to Al Snow and Mahabali Shera in a Strap Match on the December 7 episode of Impact Wrestling.

Dax confirmed the duo was done with TNA in response to a tweet on Friday:

Previously, Baraka and Dax worked for WWE under the names of Sylvester Lefort and Marcus Louis, respectively. Teaming as The Legionnaires, they appeared regularly on NXT throughout 2014, but, after splitting on the October 16, 2014, episode of NXT, they did not appear on programming for more than a year until being released from their NXT deals in February.

One month later, they debuted in TNA using The Tribunal gimmick, quickly aligning themselves with Al Snow. They turned on Snow during the November 10 episode of Impact Wrestling.

Baraka has a decade of experience in wrestling, and was trained by former ECW, WCW and WWE star Lance Storm. Dax was a product of the training system at the WWE Performance Center.

The tag division of TNA will take center stage this coming Thursday on Impact Wrestling, when "Total Nonstop Deletion" airs. This entire two-hour episode was filmed at the Hardy compound in North Carolina, and will feature an Apocalypto tag team match that saw "Broken" Matt Hardy issue an open challenge to any tag team that wanted to take part. TNA official Jeremy Borash discussed the cost and presentation of this match in an appearance on The Taz Show back in October.
