WWE has begun announcing the lineup for this Friday's edition of SmackDown.
First, Drew McIntyre will team up with Jeff Hardy to take on the team of Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss.
McIntyre, Hardy and Corbin all served as members of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series but the animosity between the two sides has continued to build. Hardy defeated Madcap Moss last week thanks to a helping hand from Drew, who intervened and stopped Corbin from getting involved in the match.
Additionally, after defeating Big E at Survivor Series, Roman Reigns is awaiting his next challenger for the Universal Championship. WWE has teased a new Superstar stepping up to The Tribal Chief, saying "Who will look to unseat Reigns from his undeniable rule over SmackDown?"
Finally, Ridge Holland will go one-on-one with Cesaro. Holland has formed an alliance with Sheamus ever since The Celtic Warrior moved to SmackDown, even helping him win a fatal four-way match that earned him a spot on the SmackDown Survivor Series team. Holland has caught the ire of Cesaro ever since he said that he and Sheamus would be a better team than The Bar ever was.
