Asuka is looking to make a statement in her debut match on the blue-brand.
As a part of the 2nd annual WWE 'Superstar Shake-Up' that took place this past week, SmackDown Live added a major player to their women's division in the form of the longest reigning NXT Women's Champion of all-time Asuka. With Carmella reigning supreme as the SmackDown Live Women's Champion and competitors such as Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Naomi, and the tandem of Peyton Royce & Billie Kay, the division has become compacted with all those mentioned attempting to climb their way to the top.
Last week on SmackDown having not been seen since having her undefeated streak broken at WrestleMania 34, Asuka made her return as a part of the SmackDown Live roster and came to the aid of Becky Lynch and the woman who ended her undefeated streak, Charlotte Flair. This upcoming Tuesday Becky Lynch will team up with Asuka to get revenge on the cunning duo 'The IIconics' for ambushing her this past Tuesday.
