WWE has announced a tag team rematch for the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.
During SmackDown, the company announced that Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman would be facing T-BAR and Mace in a rematch of their April 19 bout. Last week, McIntyre was set to face the former RETRIBUTION members in a handicap match, but Braun Strowman came out to save the former WWE Champion.
The match would eventually end in disqualification after Drew and Braun unmasked T-BAR and Mace and beat them down with said masks. Of course, Dio Maddin, former Monday Night Raw commentator portrays Mace, while former NXT Superstar Dominik Dijakovic is T-BAR. When the ring announcer, Mike Rome, officially announced the winners, he used the pairing’s RETRIBUTION names.
Also announced for the show is Bobby Lashley addressing his WrestleMania Backlash opponent, Drew McIntyre. Lashley successfully defended his WWE Championship versus Drew at WrestleMania 37, but the Scottish Warrior won a WWE Title #1 Contendership Triple Threat match on April 12.
