Taka Michinoku is going on Spring Break.
The latest addition to Joey Janela's Spring Break III is veteran junior Taka Michinoku taking on Independent favorite Orange Cassidy. The bout was announced via a retro video game trailer.
Taka has not wrestled in the United States since 2004 when he competed under the HCW banner in Honolulu, Hawaii. When his WWE run ended in 2001, he returned to Japan full-time. He currently competes for NJPW, usually working as a second for Zack Sabre Jr.
Orange Cassidy is a regular in GCW and is set to face Velveteen Dream in EVOLVE next weekend. Cassidy won a social media poll to get the match, which was originally scheduled to be against Ricochet.
