Tammy 'Sunny' Sytch Comments On Fatal Crash, Claims She Had A Seizure

On April 6 it was reported that Tammy Sytch, better known to wrestling fans as Sunny, allegedly caused a car crash in which a 75-year-old man died in March. The police suspected she was under the influence of booze at the time of the wreck.

Taking to social media, Sytch responded to a user who asked "How fast were you going when you slammed into the poor old guy stopped at a traffic light and killed him? His life ended for what reason? Were you on your way to a fire? or drunk? or high?"

Sytch replied, "Hmmmabout 10 since I was slowing down to. Light. But he had a heart. Attack. Nothing to do with my seizure."

In June 2015, Sytch claimed to have suffered a seizure following a traffic accident, but later pleaded later guilty to DUI in all three cases, as well as one count of driving without a license. In July 2016, she admitted in an interview that she agreed to the guilty plea because she was "blackout drunk" during what she termed the worst relapse of her life.

A civil lawsuit has been filed against Sytch and boyfriend James F. Pente by the estate of Julian L. Lasseter, who was killed on March 25 in Ormond Beach, Florida. The lawsuit is seeking 'in excess of' $30,000.

In a statement to TMZ Sports at the time of the original report, a spokesperson for the Ormond Beach Police Dept. said they are actively investigating the crash -- and say toxicology results could ultimately lead to criminal charges against Sytch.

Sytch has not been arrested for the incident. She and Pente have yet to respond to the lawsuit.

Fightful will continue to update fans on the situation as more is known.
