Tammy Sytch Arrested And Facing Nine Charges In Connection To March 2022 Car Accident; Posts Bail

On April 6 it was reported that Tammy Sytch, better known to wrestling fans as Sunny, allegedly caused a car crash in which a 75-year-old man died in March. The police suspected she was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

A civil lawsuit was subsequently filed against Sytch and boyfriend James F. Pente by the estate of Julian L. Lasseter, who was killed on March 25 in Ormond Beach, Florida. The lawsuit is seeking 'in excess of $30,000.'

In a statement to TMZ Sports at the time of the original report, a spokesperson for the Ormond Beach Police Dept. said they are actively investigating the crash -- and say toxicology results could ultimately lead to criminal charges against Sytch.

Now, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Sytch was arrested this evening in Ormond Beach, Florida in connection to the death of Mr. Lasseter. She is being processed into Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach and is currently facing nine charges, including DUI Manslaughter, Driving with a suspended or revoked license (causing death or serious injury), and seven counts of DUI causing damage to a person or property.

On May 7, Steve Carrier of Ringside News posted that Sytch had posted her bail, a bond of 227,500 dollars. She is free to remain at home until such time that her case goes to trial. Carrier also notes that she procured bail through Bob Barry Bail Bonds, meaning she would only need to produce 10% of the total amount owed at this moment.

In June 2015, Sytch claimed to have suffered a seizure following a traffic accident but later pleaded later guilty to DUI in all three cases, as well as one count of driving without a license. In July 2016, she admitted in an interview that she agreed to the guilty plea because she was "blackout drunk" during what she termed the worst relapse of her life.
