Taro Okada Says Utami Hayashishita Is Not Signed To Stardom

At Stardom Nighter in Korakuen on May 26, Utami Hayashishita made her return to the promotion after two years away.

Utami, who had been competing with Marigold, confronted Saya Kamitani.

After the event, Stardom President Taro Okada claimed that Utami is not signed to Stardom, but he doesn’t expect her to wrestle anywhere else.

“I don’t think she’ll appear anywhere other than us (STARDOM). We’ll watch closely from here and make a decision. That happens in every world, doesn’t it? I don’t really see her as an outside enemy. She wants to wrestle in STARDOM, so she’s not an invader. What she does from now on is what’s most important. If she wants to go even higher, then let’s go there together. Let’s go take the very top of the pro-wrestling world,” he said (via Tokyo Sports).
