An update on Tasha Steelz following April 2022 IMPACT Wrestling tapings
Mike Johnson of PWInsider first reported that IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz appeared to suffer an injury at the IMPACT TV tapings in Poughkeepsie, NY on April 24. According to the report, Steelz apparently landed wrong during a spot and seemed "out of it" afterward.
WrestleZone later reported that a source close to the situation said Steelz is "good to go" and will appear at IMPACT’s next set of television tapings in Newport, Kentucky (Cincinnati) in May, emphasizing that she left from that match under her own power.
Tasha later confirmed her own status while speaking with Women's Wrestling Talk, saying, “Ima badass, can’t nothing or nobody hold me down!” Going on to confirm that she is not injured.
Tasha successfully defended her gold against Rosemary at the most recent Rebellion pay-per-view. You can check out our full coverage here.
We have live coverage of IMPACT on AXS TV every Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. eastern time.
Steelz is confirmed for the upcoming Women's Wrestling Army show on May 1. Learn more here.
