Tasha Steelz Hopes To Face Mercedes Mone For IWGP Women's Title At IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2

Tasha Steelz is hopeful she will get to work with the former Sasha Banks, Mercedes Mone, at the upcoming IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2: For Whom the Bell Tolls event.

Mercedes Mone is currently calling her own shots in professional wrestling as she is "The CEO." currently the IWGP Women's Champion, Mercedes is enjoying the opportunity to establish New Japan Pro-Wrestling's first women's division while also getting to work in STARDOM as well. However, Mercedes has stated in the past that she is not exclusively going to be working in Japan as she plans on working in Mexico and continuing her work in the United States, too.

IMPACT Wrestling's Tasha Steelz is hopeful to be someone that Mercedes finds herself across the squared circle from. Steelz stated in a recent interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo that she wants to face Mercedes for the IWGP Women's Championship at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2: For Whom the Bell Tolls.

"The CEO vs. The Boricua Badass? I see it. I see it. A lot of people have been seeing it as well," said Tasha. "Never say never. You can never say never, and we're going to just manifest it right now. We're going to speak it into existence, and hopefully, at Multiverse United 2, everyone will get to see Tasha Steelz vs. Mercedes Mone."

In the past, Mone has stated that she wants to work with IMPACT but was more explicitly targeting Mickie James prior to Mickie's injury. Fans can read Mercedes' comments at this link.
