Tasha Steelz wants to wrestle the NWA Women's Champion and potentially become her own version of the champ-champ.
Tasha Steelz is all about making history. She is the first woman to ever win an Ultimate X Match and she followed that up by defeating Mickie James for the IMPACT Knockouts Championship. Now, she's opening up about wanting to explore her opportunities beyond IMPACT and potentially head to the National Wrestling Alliance.
Speaking on the latest Battleground Podcast, Steelz opened up about wanting to wrestle Kamille and win the NWA Women's Championship from her.
“Let's go outside of IMPACT a little bit because that Kamille, man, I think Kamille and I we have we've been this close, but we haven't gotten in that ring together yet and I would have loved to step in the ring with Kamille. She's a champ. I'm a champ. I mean, NWA-IMPACT, I'm sure they did their crossovers at one point. Mickie James, she brought my title over there to NWA one time, so I wouldn't mind getting in the ring with Kamille, you know? We could do our little champ -champ match,” she said. “ I am the greatest, that beat the greatest. There's nothing that I can't do. Especially beating down someone like Kamille. That’s on period.”
No matter what, Tasha will make history on June 19 as she becomes the first woman to defend her title in a Queen of the Mountain match at Slammiversary. Learn more here.
