Tatum Paxley Becomes New Women’s North American Champion At NXT Vengeance Day

Tatum Paxley gets her revenge.

One of the championship matches on the night at NXT’s Vengeance Day Premium Live Event was the Women’s North American Title match between Tatum Paxley and the champion Izzi Dame.

The breakdown in Paxley and Dame’s partnership started in November 2025 when Dame and The Culling (Shawn Spears & Niko Vance) turned on Paxley and cost her the NXT Women’s Championship at Gold Rush.

In January 2026, Paxley showed up for an open challenge that then-Women’s North American Champion Thea Hail was issuing. Dame ambushed Hail from behind before Paxley could get in the ring and took the title opportunity for herself. She went on to defeat Hail for the belt.

At Vengeance Day, Paxley fought off The Culling and went on to defeat Dame to become NXT Women’s North American Champion.
