Taya Valkyrie and Lady Frost advance to the next round.
CMLL previously vacated the CMLL Women's World Tag Team Championships in December after the departure of Tessa Blanchard. Blanchard and Lluvia held the titles before they were vacated. CMLL later announced that new champions would be crowned through two eliminators in March.
The first eliminators were held at the March 7th event. Taya Valkyrie, who made her CMLL debut, and Lady Frost emerged victorious. First, Johnnie Robbie and Skadi defeated Valkyrie and Hera in the Seeding Battle Royal Match.
In a first-round match in the eliminator, Valkyrie and Lady Frost defeated Las Valientes (Hera and Olympia). In the second first-round match, Kira and Skadi defeated Johnnie Robbie and Viva Van. Valkyrie and Frost then defeated Kira and Skadi in the finals of the first eliminator to advance to the next round.
