Those who watched IMPACT Wrestling's Bound For Glory event on Sunday likely noticed a strange end to the main event.
Johnny Impact won the IMPACT World Title from Austin Aries, securing a three count after hitting starship pain. Immediately after the referee's hand hit the mat for a third time, Aries popped up, shouted something to IMPACT Executive Vice President Don Callis and flipped off the crowd as he made his way to the backstage area.
Taya Valkyrie, the wife of Johnny Impact who was at ringside for the bout, commented on the situation on social media.
Prior to Bound For Glory, Aries was attacked for his now deleted tweet where he referred to Valkyrie as "husky." According to Impact, Aries never apologized for the tweet.
Impact, Aries, nor Callis have commented thus far. It's still unknown whether Aries was being unprofessional or if his walk out was a worked shoot angle.
