Taz To Be Inducted Into 2300 Arena Hardcore Hall Of Fame
A special honor for Taz.
The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is going to be hosting AEW/ROH events for the next several weeks. That started with the August 27th AEW Dynamite.
After the show wrapped, AEW President Tony Khan came out to make an announcement. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson noted that Dynamite commentator Taz was informed that he’ll be inducted into the 2300 Arena’s Hardcore Hall of Fame. The site noted that it was a surprise that AEW officials arranged.
The majority of the roster came out wearing Team Taz Dojo shirts. Taz’s wife and his son HOOK appeared as well. There were speeches from Khan and Taz.
There is going to be a tribute to Taz on the 8/30 AEW Collision, when Taz’s Hardcore Hall of Fame banner will be raised.
Taz’s history in the 2300 Arena dates back to his time in ECW. He is a former ECW World Heavyweight, FTW Heavyweight, ECW World Television, and ECW World Tag Team Champion.
