One more team has advanced in the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
On the January 29 edition of WWE's 205 Live, Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon defeat Marina Shafir and Zoey Clark to advance to the next round of the tournament. The match ended when Moon applied the STF submission to Clark and made her tap out.
Moon and Blackheart will face The Way (Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell) in round two. The women previously squared off against each other at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. Moon was a member of Team Shotzi at the event, but they eventually fell short. Hartwell also got involved in that match, running interference on the outside, keeping Women's Champion Io Shirai out of the ring for an extended period, creating an advantage for Team Candice.
The Way defeated the team of Gigi Dolin (previously Priscilla Kelly) and Cora Jade (previously Elayna Black) last week.
After their victory on 205 Live, Shotzi Blackheart promised to use her emotions to fuel her team to a win over The Way, while Ember Moon joins the celebration with Indi Hartwell's bedazzled neck brace.
