It looks like a new challenger has entered the fray.
On Wednesday, a teaser for a new wrestling project dropped on Twitter, fueling speculation on what it could be. It came from the "NGW" Twitter account that was launched in June.
Fightful has been told it's a teaser for a women's wrestling project, which can be inferred from the teaser itself that features nondescript female competitors lacing up boots, using chalk, walking backstage and applying wrist tape.

The Twitter account reads "NGW Federation," and the trailer said "In 2022, it's out with the old and in with the new generation. Expect more." We're told that another trailer is to drop soon, and that plans for NGW have been in the works for months. We haven't learned any specifics as of yet as to who is involved in the project.
