Tegan Nox signed with WWE in 2017 and prior to the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament that she was slated for, she tore her ACL and returned to the ring in April of 2018. Nox went on to compete in the second Mae Young Classic tournament until she suffered another knee injury during her match against former NXT U.K. Women's Champion Rhea Ripley.
