The Butcher vs. Josh Barnett Added To August 3rd PRODUCE Event
The Butcher’s first post-AEW date is against Josh Barnett.
Fightful Select was first to report that The Butcher and The Blade are now free agents after their respective contracts with All Elite Wrestling expired. The duo had been with AEW since 2019.
The Butcher Andy Williams’ first post-AEW bout has been announced. He’ll be in action at the PRODUCE event on August 3rd against Josh Barnett.

The Butcher had not wrestled for AEW since February 2025. There were several times in 2025 that Butcher expressed his desire to get back in action under the AEW/ROH banner.
