The Gunns Say They Got The Rights To ‘Many Men’ By 50 Cent 30 Minutes Before The Show

The Gunns explain how they got a major 50 Cent song.

On the April 5, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) defended their AEW Tag Team Championships against FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler).

Though the Gunns were not victorious, they stole headlines before the match started when they entered to “Many Men” by 50 Cent.

Speaking to Tony Schiavone on What Happened When, the Gunns explained how it all came together.

“We were on the way to the gym and were listening to old 50 Cent. We were like, ‘What if we could come out to this song?’ ‘Why can’t we?’ We asked, pushed for it, and we somehow got it about 30 minutes before we went live,” said Colten.

Austin added, “That was a hill we were willing to die one. We were like, ‘We don’t want anything. I promise we’ll never ask for anything else. Just please get us this entrance.’ We were in New York, people hated us at the time. We just thought it would be such a cool me and Colten moment because everyone else hated us in that arena, but me and Colten were like, ‘This is our thing. We think it’s cool.’ When the lights go down and they realize what song it is, I’ve never seen so many people flip me off and sing the song at the same time. They love the song and were almost jealous that we had it. It’s so cool flexing.”

The Gunns have not used the theme since.

They remain with AEW as part of the Bang Bang Gang with Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Ace Austin.
