The Hurt Syndicate is back on the hunt for gold.

One of the matches on the bill for AEW WrestleDream was a trios bout between The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) and The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona).

Emerging victorious from the bout were The Hurt Syndicate. With the win, MVP, Lashley, and Benjamin are now the number one contenders to the AEW World Trios Championship.

Those titles are in the possession of The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & Powerhouse Hobbs). Samoa Joe is scheduled to be in the AEW World Championship match at WrestleDream against the champion Hangman Adam Page.
