The Miz: I’ve Never Seen Any Celebrity Train More For Wrestling Than Bad Bunny

The Miz puts over Bad Bunny’s dedication to the world of pro wrestling and preparing for his match at WrestleMania 37.

At the event, the rapper would team with Damian Priest to take on the team of Miz and John Morrison, and would prove to be a major part of the match despite being a celebrity competing in his first match in the industry.

While speaking to Contralona in a new interview, The Miz spoke about Bad Bunny’s dedication to training for his WrestleMania 37 tag team match.

“Let me tell you something. When celebrities come into WWE, I’ve never seen anyone train more than Bad Bunny to get there. Not only was he training, he was literally going to SNL. Then he would come and train. Like literally fly right back from SNL and train. Go to the Grammys. Then come right back to train. Like he was so dedicated, and when he got in that ring, he was ready. He was prepared and the proof is in the pudding. You saw the ability that he was able to put on, and not everyone is able to do that. He kind of started that whole celebrity trend where it’s like, ‘hey, celebrities actually have to be good. We can’t just hide them.’ If you watch that match with Bad Bunny and that tag match, he was in that ring the entire time. That doesn’t happen. Usually we just shove him off into the corner and just, come on, tag me in, tag me in. No, no, we wanted to try something different, and the reason we were able to do that was the hard work that he put in.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, The Miz spoke about potentially using Oasis music as his theme. You can read more about that here.
