The Miz recalls being reminded of his success following being upset with his booking following his first WWE title loss.
In 2010, Miz would have one of the most successful years of his career, holding the WWE United States Championship and the Unified Tag Team Titles simultaneously. He would also win Money In The Bank before successfully cashing in to win the WWE title.
While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm and The Sportster in a new interview, The Miz was asked about 2010, where he would have multiple titles around his waist before later becoming WWE Champion.
“It’s crazy to think of the accolades that I’ve been able to accomplish, in my career, especially coming into WWE and everyone saying I’d be fired within three months, and then there I am, maybe like four years later with three titles. I think I had three titles and the Money in the Bank at one point. So yeah, and by the way, if you get Matt Cardona over here, he’ll tell you a story about when I lost all those titles and I won the WWE Championship and lost the title again, and I remember I wasn’t on the show at one point and I was like, ‘when are they going to make new stars?’ and they were like, ‘dude, you just had three titles around your waist.’ Like, that’s how oblivious I am to everything.”
