The Rock Joins ‘Zootopia 2’ Voice Cast
The Rock has a box office juggernaut on the horizon.
On Monday, October 27, Disney released the final trailer for ‘Zootopia 2’, which is set to hit theaters on Wednesday, November 26. The highly anticipated sequel comes a little under the first movie hit theaters in March 2016.
A ton of casting announcements arrived with the trailer, revealing that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will voice the character of Zeke in the film.

The voice cast for ‘Zootopia 2’ also includes names like Jason Bateman, Ke Huy Quan, Andy Samberg, Idris Elba, Shakira, Quinta Brunson, Macaulay Culkin, Brenda Song, Danny Trejo, June Squibb, and Ed Sheeran. The film is directed by the duo of Jared Bush and Byron Howard, who directed and wrote the first film.
This will be Johnson’s first film since ‘The Smashing Machine’, which will cross $20M at the worldwide box office in the coming days. That film will also be debuting on digital platforms on Friday, November 4.
Following the release of ‘Zootopia 2’, Johnson’s next role will be in the live-action version of ‘Moana’, which hits theaters on July 10, 2026.
