In the world of pro wrestling, legends deals for the pro wrestlers of the past have become all the more prevalent in WWE and in companies like AEW. However, for The Sandman, he doesn’t feel like they are ever a good thing.
While speaking to the Major Wrestling Figure podcast in a recent appearance, Sandman spoke about WWE legends deals, noting that nobody has ever said a good thing about a legends deal.
“No, I don’t. No, they asked. I was like, no legends deal. Well, because nobody ever said a good thing about a legends deal. I never heard one person say a good thing about them signing a legends deal.”
Elsewhere in the same appearance, Sandman spoke about a pitch for he and Hacksaw Jim Duggan to win the WWE World Tag Titles in 2007. You can read more about that here.
