‘The Smashing Machine’ HBO Max Premiere Date Revealed

‘The Smashing Machine’ comes to streaming in January.
On Monday, December 22, HBO Max announced a list of movies and shows that are coming to the platform in January 2026. On that list is ‘The Smashing Machine’, A24’s Mark Kerr biopic that stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the leading role. The film will added to the service on Friday, January 23.
The streaming debut for ‘The Smashing Machine’ comes just over 100 days after the film was released in theaters. During its theatrical run, the Oscar hopeful brought in $21.1M worldwide.

It’s worth noting that the streaming date will come just one day after the 98th Academy Award nominations are announced on Thursday, January 22.
