The Usos comment on Yeet and no Yeet.
Since Jey Uso seperated from The Bloodline as his own man as a singles star, he has been using the word ‘yeet’ as a catchphrase, even naming his dance that is always growing in popularity as ‘yeeting’. While Jey and his twin Jimmy were on opposite sides of the Bloodline civil war heading into WrestleMania 40, Jimmy would begin saying no yeet at the behest of Roman Reigns.
While speaking to Love Wrestling ahead of WWE Wrestlepalooza, The Usos were asked about the ‘yeet’ and ‘no yeet’ catchphrases it making into pop culture lexicon.
Jimmy Uso: “I got goosebumps, man. We grew up saying it. Just the fact that around the world, mind you, we grew up in Florida. So, I’m sure it was on the West Coast. I’m sure it was in New York. I’m sure people said it or whatever, but that was us to the core.”
Jey Uso: “Yeet is us now. Point blank, period. Answer your question, uce. Fire. Never would have thought that in a million years. It’s all just coming in, rotating in one. Everything’s working. But let’s keep the Yeet train moving.”
The Usos are currently scheduled to face off with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at Wrestlepalooza. You can read more about that here.
