The Young Bucks Say PAC Told Them Not To Sign With WWE

Tributes and memories for PAC have continued to pour in following his shocking and untimely passing on Sunday.

The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) knew PAC longer than many in the wrestling business, dating back to their first trip to Japan 20 years ago.

On the latest episode of BTE, the Bucks shared their memories of Benjamin Satterley, revealing his advice when they asked about joining WWE.

Nick: We lost touch a little bit when he went to WWE. We did see him at a WrestleMania weekend.

Matt: We asked for career advice.

Nick: Yeah, we were like, ‘Should we go?’

Matt: Should we visit? Should we do what you’re doing right now and we can all be together?

Nick: I’ll be honest, he told us, ‘No, mate.’

Matt: He’s like, ‘Don’t do this. This isn’t for you, mate. Don’t do this.’ We were like, ‘Oh, okay.’

The Bucks didn’t give a timeline on when they had that conversation with PAC. They were free agents at the end of 2018, which led to the creation of AEW, but PAC had also left WWE by that point.

AEW paid tribute to “The Bastard” on Wednesday with AEW Dynamite. Fans can find more tributes here.
