Thekla Beats Taro Okada With Starlight Kid’s Mask At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door
Thekla retained the AEW Women’s Championship at Forbidden Door.
“The Toxic Spider” successfully defended the AEW Women’s Title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, defeating STARDOM standout Starlight Kid, who was making her debut in AEW.
The finish saw the champion hit a spear followed by back-to-back stomps for the victory.
After the match, Thekla cut off the mask of Starlight and spat on it. She followed up by rubbing the mask in the face of STARDOM President Taro Okada and then beating Okada with the mask.

This was the seventh successful title defense for Thekla. She won the title on the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, defeating Kris Statlander.
