The AEW Women’s World Champion and Gunther are two of the top wrestlers in their respective companies at present, and are also two of the rare talents that come out of Austria. For Thekla, she feels that the the race between the two for ‘greatest Austrian wrestler’ is a tight one.
While speaking to the Sal Licata Show in a new interview, AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla discussed who between her and Gunther is the greatest Austrian wrestler today.
“Oh that’s a tight race, I’m gonna say. I usually do put myself on on the number one spot, but I’m glad, I mean, I’m glad he’s a guy, I’m a girl, you know, we don’t have to actually race for that spot, but i think he can do shit that i can’t do, and vice versa let’s put it that way.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Thekla spoke about Asuka ‘still kicking ass’. You can read more about that here.
