Thekla Loves Being Compared To Luna Vachon, ‘She Was A Badass’

Thekla has drawn comparisons to the legendary Luna Vachon with her unpredictable and no nonsense style and manner.

At AEW Double or Nothing, the AEW Women’s Champion had a similar face paint to Luna, drawing more comparisons between the two.

Speaking at the post-show media scrum, Thekla was asked about the comparisons.

“That was not on purpose. I’ve heard that comparison a lot, and I love it. I’ve never not liked hearing that. Every time someone says, ‘She’s the new Luna Vachon.’ I go, ‘Yeah.’ That’s cool. I love being the reincarnation, to some extent, of Luna because she was a badass,” she said.

Thekla retained the AEW Women’s Title at Double or Nothing, defeating Jamie Hayter, Hikaru Shida, and Kris Statlander.
