Thekla comments on she and fellow Austrian Gunther’s success in the pro wrestling industry, calling it remarkable.

Thekla has been a successful part of both the STARDOM and AEW rosters throughout her career, but has never forgotten her Austrian routes in the world of pro wrestling. While there are few Austrian talents worldwide in the industry, Thekla feels that she and WWE’s Gunther’s success at the same time is ‘remarkable’.

While speaking to the Daily Express in a new interview, Thekla addressed the success of she and Gunther in the wider pro wrestling scene.

“What are the odds that we both come from a very small country with basically no wrestling scene? What are the odds that that two people make it this far, him and WWE and me and AEW? It’s it’s really remarkable.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Thekla spoke about the death threats she received following her attack of Taro Okada at STARDOM All Star Grand Queendom 2025, and how it helped her realize she had made it as a heel in pro wrestling. You can read more about that here.
