Rosa has been out of action since after AEW All In, when she announced that she would be taking a break from wrestling.
In a new interview with Midnight Movie Trash, Thunder Rosa revealed that she is expecting to return to the ring ‘fairly soon’.
“I’m actually going to be part of the mega procession of Catrinas, which is in Mexico City in Reforma. There’s like 3 million people (that) are going to be part of this thing and I’m one of the people that are being, you know, pulling the flag in the front. So I’m really excited as a Catrina myself. It’s been, it’s been a journey and having to celebrate my culture in America and now I have to celebrate my culture in Mexico. That’s really fun. I’m also doing a lot of work with the NFL and the Texans that’s been a lot of fun and right now I’m just focusing on continuing my rehab for the injuries that I just had a couple months ago and I have really good news. Everything’s going really well so I’m expecting to return to the ring fairly soon.”
