Thunder Rosa Reflects On Being The First Foreigner To Win A Championship In Tokyo Joshi Pro

Thunder Rosa is the new Tokyo Joshi Pro International Princess Champion. This win over Maki Ito makes her the first foreign competitor to win a championship in Tokyo Joshi Pro. 

Thunder Rosa took to social media to reflect upon this moment in her career, calling it the culmination of her years of hard work not for gold or fame, but to be recognized as one of the best. 

"I can't describe how happy I am about being the first non-japanese champion in this company. I did it because I believe and other people believe in my abilities as a wrestler and as a performer," she began. "I will never forget how when I first started coming to this country they called me the jobber, talent enhancement and that I had will never become a star!
