"Beth Phoenix. She's very inspiring," said Rosa.

Another wrestler who may see Beth Phoenix as an inspiration is Jade Cargill. Jade Cargill has taken the move that Beth Phoenix called the “Glam Slam”, putting her own twist on it and renaming it the “Jaded.” Thunder Rosa has not gotten a chance to face Jade Cargill since the TBS Championship tournament. Now, Rosa says she would love another chance to face Jade Cargill who she says has come into her own as an athlete and a performer.

"Yeah, I love challenges. She's becoming a better opponent. She's becoming a better athlete in the ring. So, I know from when I last faced her which was in December, I know if this happened in the future, it would be a really, really, really good match."

Both Rosa and Jade will be defending their respective championships at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Fans can check out the whole card here.

Elsewhere in this interview, Thunder Rosa noted that she would like to team with someone that has a similar personality to hers, similar to the way that Darby Allin and Sting are paired. Learn more here.
