Ric Flair is still a box office draw.
Ric Flair, at 73 years of age, is coming out of retirement for one final match which will take place in Nashville, Tennessee, during the weekend of SummerSlam.
Being presented by Starrcast, Ric Flair's final match is being presented under the banner of Jim Crockett Promotions, the namesake of the National Wrestling Alliance promotion that housed most of Ric Flair’s well-known moments, it is not yet known who he will face but it is known that the event will be called by Tony Schiavone and David Crockett and the event is sold out.

Some names have been floated out as possible opponents for Ric Flair in his final match. Ricky Steamboat has stated that he turned down the offer to take part in the match and Ric Flair has denied that Hulk Hogan will be on the opposite side of the ring from him for his final farewell.
