Tiffany Stratton Confirms She Apologized To Charlotte Flair Over Divorce Line, Thinks She Was Justified In The Promo

On the March 21st episode of WWE SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair engaged in a split screen war of words where Charlotte spoke over Tiffany during the segment.

Two weeks later on the April 4th WWE SmackDown, Tiffany brought up Charlotte’s divorces, saying “You might be Queen inside of the ring but outside of the ring, you ain’t the Queen of shit. When I beat you at WrestleMania, Charlotte, you are going to be just like you are outside of the ring, alone. What is that record? 0-3? Woooo!”

It was revealed on WWE Unreal that Triple H wanted Tiffany to apologize for the line.

“Charlotte Flair is Charlotte Flair. She’s a legend. I was the champion at the time. Things were heated. She’s very competitive. I’m also very competitive. I’m trying to prove to Charlotte Flair that I can go and stand up to her and am worthy of this title. Shit got heated. We both went off script. It happens. I did have to apologize. That was that,” Tiffany said on Impaulsive.

Asked if it was hard to apologize, Tiffany said, “No. I’m someone that can fully embrace being in the wrong. I had no problem apologizing.”

Asked if she thought she was in the wrong with the promo, “Yes and no. I think what I did was justified, but maybe I shouldn’t have gone that far. I do feel like I was justified in what I did.”

Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair competed at WrestleMania 41, with Stratton winning and retaining the WWE Women’s Championship.
