Tiffany Stratton: Paul Heyman Praised Me For Holding My Own In Promo With Becky Lynch At WWE Payback

Tiffany Stratton reflects on sharing a moment with Paul Heyman after she confronted Becky Lynch backstage.

Tiffany Stratton is on the rise in WWE. Most recently, she just headlined NXT No Mercy against Becky Lynch in an Extreme Rules Match. That was not her WWE PLE debut as she has competed on multiple NXT events and even confronted Becky Lynch backstage at WWE Payback.

The two shared in a brief backstage verbal spar and Stratton, during a recent interview with WrestleRant's Graham "GSM" Matthews, stated that Paul Heyman came up to her after one of her encounters with Becky Lynch and praised her for being able to hold her own against a WrestleMania main eventer on the microphone.

"I actually had Paul Heyman come up to me, and he said that I did a really good job in my backstage with Becky with holding my own. Yeah, just like holding my own and being able to stand out even with Becky Lynch right there next to me."

Stratton said the moment at WWE Payback gave her some reassurance in terms of her future in WWE.

"Yeah, it's definitely a little reassuring for sure to know that they have been putting me on Raw and giving me backstages here and there. It's definitely been reassuring and I'm really excited [for] when I get called up. I hope it's soon, but whenever it's right, I will be ready."

Shawn Michaels recently stated on a media call that as nice as it is that talents want to get called up at a certain time, ultimately they don't get to make that decision.

Stratton recently stated that she believed she'll be headlining WrestleMania sooner rather than later. Read her comments and her reflection on NXT No Mercy here.
