Tiffany Stratton Was Pleased With Jade Cargill Match At WWE SummerSlam, ‘We Didn’t Need An Insane 40 Minute Match’

Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill at WWE SummerSlam in a match that went just over seven minutes. The bout was the shortest match across both nights on SummerSlam, excluding Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase on CM Punk.
Speaking to Austin and Vigilante on the Babyfaces podcast, Tiffany was asked how she felt about the match.
“We didn’t have this insane life or death story going into SummerSlam, so I didn’t feel like we needed an insane 40-minute match. It was a very competitive match. It was very fast. That’s all we really needed. I’m really pleased how my match went with Jade Cargill,” she said.
Stratton has held the WWE Women’s Championship for over 225 days.
On Friday’s WWE SmackDown, Nia Jax and Cargill confronted Tiffany in a backstage segment, staking their claim for a potential title shot.
