Timothy Thatcher Competing In AJPW’s Royal Road Tournament

Timothy Thatcher is headed to AJPW.
All Japan Pro Wrestling is set to kick off its 2026 Royal Road tournament. It starts on September 9th, and one of the first-round matches will see Hideki Suzuki versus Timothy Thatcher.

Thatcher is currently with WWE as a trainer, and he works with the I.D. program. Thatcher also serves as the on-screen General Manager of WWE EVOLVE.
Suzuki and Thatcher have shared the ring multiple times. They’ve competed in GCW, Pro Wrestling NOAH, and wXw Germany.
The winner of the Royal Road tournament will get a shot at the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship, which is currently held by Kento Miyahara.
