Titus O'Neil Was A Wrestling Fan At A Young Age

Titus O'Neil watched wrestling with his grandmother. 

While in South Africa, Titus O'Neil appeared on the morning television program Expresso Show and explained how he had been a professional wrestling fan since childhood.

"I never had the thought that I wanted to do this. But I did grow up a fan watching it every Saturday morning with my grandmother. We had two options, we could either stay outside or  watch the Smurfs in the morning and watch wrestling immediately after. A lot of times we were forced to stay inside so I just got hooked," said O'Neil. 

Regarding how he got into professional wrestling, O'Neil said he was goaded by Dave Batista

"One of my best friends Dave Batista for years was like 'you should try this out' and I'm like 'man, I'm not doing that,'" said O'Neil.
