TJ Perkins Says He Was Not Upset About Women In Main Event

TJ Perkins says he is supportive of the women on WWE's roster, contrary to rumors.

On Twitter, Perkins answered questions regarding whether or not he was upset about Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair headlining WWE Hell in a Cell. Banks and Flair were the first two women to compete in a Hell in a Cell match and did so as main event of the pay-per-view.

"Not at all. Spent time talking w/Sasha in LA b4 the RAW main, they killed it. Same w/HIAC. Spoke w/Lita that I predict same at a future WM," tweeted Perkins.

Rumors had surfaced in September that some of the WWE Locker Room were irritated by Perkins. Perkins tweeted about how he is treated backstage.

"Everyone is really nice to me at work, especially my peers and my bosses, even the big boss. Ppl make stuff about me all the time with the hopes that others will find me less appealing," tweeted Perkins.

TJ Perkins debuted on Raw in September, he continued the conversation by addressing the negative talk surrounding him.

"Sadly ppl like to tear down good things. Kinda like 'peers being upset' about my life story. Everyone was super cool & supportive, Not upset," tweeted Perkins.

At WWE Hell in a Cell, Perkins lost his WWE Cruiserweight Championship to Brian Kendrick. He is currently in pursuit of regaining his title. On Monday he defeated the champion Kendrick by countout. Perkins and his partner Kota Ibushi were eliminated of the Dusty Rhodes Classic on Wednesday's episode of NXT.
