TKO President Mark Shapiro: With WrestleMania, We Have Our Super Bowl

ESPN is set to be the new home of WWE PLEs beginning in 2026 when ten PLEs, including WrestleMania, move to the platform.

ESPN has the rights to the 2027 Super Bowl, and TKO President Mark Shapiro believes WrestleMania is in that same category.

“We’ve got our very own Super Bowl,” Shapiro told The Athletic.

WrestleMania is WWE’s biggest event of the year, and it expanded to two nights in 2020.
