TNA Impact's First Thursday Show Draws Near Record Numbers

Even though TNA Impact Wrestling moved its weekly show from Tuesdays to Thursdays as a knee-jerk reaction to WWE SmackDown going live on Tuesdays, the first Thursday show was a success, according to it's viewership numbers.

Impact Wrestling's first Thursday night show since moving to Pop TV averaged 362,000 viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily. It was actually up 1 percent from last week's episode, which scored 358,000 viewers.

It was also the second best number for a first-run episode of Impact on Pop TV, behind the "Final Deletion" episode (410,000 viewers) from a couple of weeks back.

The last three weeks averaged about 376,000 viewers for TNA, the best three week average for the company since it moved from Destination America to Pop TV.

This week's episode featured first round playoff matches for Bound for Glory and a title vs. title match between TNA Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley and X Division Champion Eddie Edwards in a Six Sides of Steel match.

Impact Wrestling was #137 for the night in the 18-49 demo.
