TNA had to deal with both NFL and college football games being shown during TNA's time slot. NFL Network's broadcast of the New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills game and ESPN's broadcast of the Cincinnati vs. Houston game took the number one and two position in the ratings respectively. The NFL drew a 1.47 rating in the 18-49 demographic and ESPN drew a 0.71 rating while TNA had a 0.09 rating, which was #124 in the top 150 in cable ratings.

This week's episode of Impact Wrestling featured the aftermath of the "Delete or Decay" segment between TNA Tag Team Champions The Decay and the Hardy family. The episode also contained matches in the TNA Grand Impact Championship tournament as well as an Empty Impact Zone Match between Rockstar Spud and Braxton Sutter in which they fought in... an empty arena.
