JDC earns a title shot on his road to retirement.

The main event of the November 20th episode of TNA iMPACT saw J.D.C. clash with Eric Young. If JDC picked up the victory, he would secure himself a shot at the TNA World Championship at the Final Resolution special on December 5th. JDC emerged victorious, and he is now set to challenge the champion Frankie Kazarian. JDC will be wrapping up his in-ring career after TNA Genesis in January.

Also on the bill for Final Resolution is an X Division Title match and multiple NXT wrestlers challenging for TNA titles.
