Tom Hannifan Says Frankie Kazarian vs. Bear Bronson Is An Early Match Of The Year Contender For TNA

Tom Hannifan has high praise for Bear Bronson.
In just a few short months, Bronson has already established himself as a rising fan favorite in the world of TNA Wrestling. Bronson also has a ton of momentum for 2026, as he recently tested Frankie Kazarian in a TNA World Championship contest.
Speaking with the Hitting The Turnbuckle podcast, Tom Hannifan said that Bronson and Kazarian’s match was an early match of the year contender for TNA.
“I’ve only recently been thoroughly introduced to Bear, obviously got to meet him in the person for the first time, but becoming familiar with his work in the process. The match he had with Frankie Kazarian for the TNA World Championship is one of the best I’ve seen in a few years. I thought it was incredible and an early match of the year contender for TNA Wrestling and we’re just barely into 2026.”
Hannifan continued on and said that he’s excited to see what Bronson does with TNA in the future.
“Bear has taken the opportunity, like so many, to reinvent himself. He came in and was given that six-man tag team matchup at the countdown to final resolution, then a battle royal, then a TNA World Championship matchup against a TNA original in Frankie Kazarian. Pressure. It’s a lot of pressure. Especially in the past year, he’s made a name for himself. He has gone through some violent and bloody affairs on the independent scene to get eyeballs but now you’re in TNA and it’s a whole new challenge. For him to work with Frankie Kazarian and deliver on a big time level, he’s special. I think there’s something there and I’m really excited to see what he does in the future with us.”
