The main events for every episode of NJPW Strong in the month of May have been announced.
It had previously been revealed that Jon Moxley would be returning to Strong on Friday, May 7 to team with Chris Dickinson against Yuji Nagata and Ren Narita. Moxley will be defending his IWGP United States Championship versus Nagata the following Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.
On May 28th, Tom Lawlor will defend the Strong Openweight Title against fellow Team Filthy member, Chris Dickinson. Two weeks ago, Lawlor defeating Brody King in the finals of the New Japan Cup USA tournament to become the inaugural Champion. This will be Lawlor's first defence of the belt.
Sandwiched in-between is a Special Elimination Match on the 14th that will see Karl Fredericks, Brody King, TJP, and Clark Connors take on Team Filthy (Tom Lawlor, Chris Dickinson, JR Kratos, and Danny Limelight). The following week (May 21) will feature a No Disqualification Match between Fred Rosser and Hikuleo.
