Tommaso Ciampa Recounts Meeting Tony Khan At AEW Dynamite: “He Loves His Roster”
Ciampa speaks highly of the AEW CEO.
Tommaso Ciampa shared that his arrival at All Elite Wrestling came together in under 48 hours. The first time he met AEW President Tony Khan was on the day of his debut.
As Ciampa was being interviewed by SHAK Wrestling, he spoke about his first meeting with Khan.
“It’s the first time I met Tony (Khan). We briefly chatted and immediately I was like, wow, this guy’s passion is contagious. He loves his roster, his fan base. He loves All Elite Wrestling. He loves professional wrestling in general. I mean, it’s crazy how passionate he is, and even in that quick, brief encounter, I was like, yeah, you made the right choice.”
In Ciampa’s debut segment, he stepped up to the TNT Champion Mark Briscoe. They are set to meet in a title match on the 1/31 AEW Collision.
